This article will explain how to start an instant video conference/ meeting within Microsoft Teams.
Step 1: Go to the team and channel you wish to instigate the call in. Then go to the "Meet Now" button that is outlined below.
Step 2: The next step will be to press the new "Meet Now" button, outlined in green below.
Step 3: The below screen outlines what it looks like when a meeting has begun.
Step 4: After a few moments of the meeting being live a suggestions section will show on the right-hand side.
Step 5: You can hover over a suggested contact, click the 3 dots and then click, "Ask to join". This will then send them an invite to join the call.
Step 6: Should you want to invite an outside party, non-team member than you can click the copy icon located next to the "Invite Someone" search box. You can then copy the link into an email and send it on, the link will generate a simple "Join Meeting" button in the email for the recipients.
