This article will show users how to create a Class in Teams.
Step 1: Open Teams, https://teams.microsoft.com/go# , and navigate to the "Teams" icon. Once you are on the Teams page go to the top right-hand corner and click "Join or create team". See below.
Step 2: Click the "Create team" button as shown below.
Step 3: Click the "Class" Team option. See below.
Step 4: Name your Team/ Class. If you wish to add a description. Once you have done this click the "Next" button. See below.
Step 5: Add students to the Team/ Class, their names will pop up once you start typing them, simply click on there name like you would when writing an email.
Step 6: Add Class Teachers in the same way you have added Students. Make sure you add your Year Group TA's as well.
Step 7: You have now created a Class/ Team. See below.
Find Your Class/ Team
Your Class/ Team will show up under the Teams tab. See below an example.
